JDWK was started to drastically reduce the time and resources required to design modern VLSI systems. We combine senior silicon execution with intelligent, highly configurable automation to help teams move from RTL to tapeout faster and with fewer surprises.
We work with customers across the full path to silicon, delivering backend implementation, design infrastructure, and methodology that make execution more predictable. The goal is not just to finish the work, but to deliver tapeout-ready results at a fraction of the cost profile of traditional design services.
The company was founded by Justin Kernen after two decades of backend design at scale, in environments where tooling, flow architecture, and methodology decisions directly determined whether products shipped on time and on budget.
Everything we build is shaped by that operating reality: configurable automation, repeatable flows, and execution that improves with every program instead of restarting from scratch at each tapeout.
